Our Community Initiatives
Supporting our Roots in 4H
J&H Oil has proudly supported 4H for generations. Many of our employees—and even our founder, Jerry Hop—grew up in 4H, and now their families continue the tradition. Each year, we sponsor local fairs and purchase 4H livestock to help youth pursue their goals. We’re honored to uphold this tradition across communities like Hudsonville, Ottawa County, Lowell, Owosso, Allegan, and Cass County.
J&H Oil Company Golf Classic
Since 1997, J&H Oil’s annual golf outing has united vendors and customers to raise funds for meaningful causes. Beneficiaries include the Lakeshore Pregnancy Center and The Other Way Ministries, both devoted to strengthening families through Christ-centered care and guidance. This event reflects our belief in generosity, faith, and community impact.
Grace Christian University
Just four miles from our corporate offices in Wyoming, MI, Grace Christian University continues to grow as other Bible colleges decline. J&H Oil proudly supports Grace through facility improvements, technology upgrades, and scholarships for students pursuing Christ-centered service. Together, we’re helping prepare tomorrow’s Christian leaders.
Starlight Ministries
Starlight Ministries provides Christ-centered support for families grieving a loss. Their programs offer safe spaces for healing, reflection, and renewed hope. Partnering with Starlight allows J&H Oil to help bring comfort and faith to those navigating life after loss.
